20 days and counting down. We are tying up loose ends. It's hard to know exactly how this will go or what to expect or how to prepare. We have researched on-line, in books and with friends. We bought a pick-up truck and a camper. We made a practice trip last fall (2 week trip to TX). We have made lists, maps, and more lists. Our house/pet sitter has moved in and is ready to go (or stay). And I even started a blog!
Our plan is to leave May 17 and head west. We want to spend six months exploring our country - the west, northwest, northeast and east coast. We plan to go to a couple of major cities, but mostly state parks, national parks and just seeing the USA. That's it. Nothing too flashy. We love Nashville, but are excited to get started on our Road Trip!
