This morning I got up and
headed straight to the grocery store to stock up for the weekend. I was back by 10:00 so that we could be
hitched up and checked out by 11:00. We
like this CG and may come back Monday.
We drove on to the cabin (a
6 min drive) to move in. It really is a
big deal to pack up (especially when we don’t have suitcases or duffels or
anything) and move out of the camper only to repack and move back. We have enjoyed these brief moments of being
in a house and it is sort of nice to get reorganized when we move back in. It is kind like when you move from a
house. There is a nice purging that goes
along with it. The Schwiegers arrived in
the midst of our “moving.” Once again, I
am so thankful for friends and familiar faces.
After we got settled and
Arlie took a nap, we went for a walk around the 30-acre property. There was a huge cow pasture that backed up
to a stream. It was a beautiful day with
a warm sun peering down on us. The
leaves that remain are still pretty here, though most of the leaves are down.
