Day 183 (Nov 15) – Winding Down

I am not sure how much more I will blog.  We are getting close to home – seeing family now.  Today we drove to Ridgeland, MS (Jackson) to stay with my brother and his family through Tuesday.  They have 3 children who have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 2 children.  We think this is the longest the cousins have gone without seeing each other.  We last saw them in March.  It is so good to finally be here.  It is always relaxing and easy to be together - a good way to end the trip.  Well, it is our second to last stop before home.  Almost there…

Day 182 (Nov 14) – My High School Friend

We had another quiet and restful day.  The girls did school.  We started to gather up our stuff as we are leaving tomorrow.

Best of all, I got to see my friend Sherry from high school!  We met for a yummy dinner at Roman’s CafĂ© (Greek/Lebanese) and spent several hours catching up.  I had not seen her for 20 years.  Wow.  It was great to be together again.

Day 181 (Nov 13) – A Quiet Day

We enjoyed fellowship with friends.  We met George’s brother John and his wife, Glenda.  John makes miniature western scenes from brass and wood.  They are very intricate.  Glenda has a sewing room where she sews and quilts.  I would like to check into quilting.  I may need to pick that up as a hobby.  We came back to the house for lunch and the girls had school in the afternoon.
