Day 156 (Oct 19) – School, Sand and Surf

More of the same.  Carmen is thankful for a new swimsuit.  We went to the beach after lunch.  We got out a little earlier today and there was a huge tide pool between our spot and the ocean.

Brad left around 4 and ran some errands for me and then went to a Jefferson/Hamilton debate in Norfolk.  Our friend and author, Clay Jenkison, from the Thomas Jefferson Hour portrayed J.  So fun that we were close enough for Brad to go!

The girls had movie night.  Carmen finished the “Pride and Prejudice” movie and then joined Audra and I in the middle of the BBC TV version.  We finished Episode V.  One more to go, but it was late so we had to save it for tomorrow.

This is the sandy spot behind our camp site that the girls love to play in.  It is a circle of sand surrounded by Live Oaks.
