We seriously loved the big
field. In my head I had us camping in
Cades Cove in GSMNP, but we were so comfortable here at Misty River that we
just stayed and never even made it into the park! Today was drearier than the past few
days. It was rainy and cloudy all
day. Rain or shine, however, football
must go on. Troy, Brad and the kids
played a big game. Katie and I cheered
them on. Well, mostly we just
talked. The only reason we finally left
the campground was for food.
We ate at AJ’s Hearth and
Kettle Restaurant. It was a small town
café for sure. All you can eat
catfish! It was an adventure!
It was still cloudy and cold
and rainy, so we chose antiquing over Cades Cove.
Then we had to say goodbye
again, but with only 20 days of our trip left, it was really “see you soon!”
