Why Montgomery? Well it was on the way to Baton Rouge. Why Baton Rouge, you ask? Because this part of the trip is ALL about
seeing friends! We are camped in the South’s
driveway in Montgomery. (Of course they
invited us to stay inside the house, but we have moved in and out of the
trailer so many times, we decided to stay put this time.)
We watched the AL-A&M
game (Debbie Downer sound here) and were saddened by that, but the taco soup
and seeing friends certainly helped distract us! These are dear friends from our Florence, AL
days and I was way overdue on hugging Gina’s neck!
All in all a very happy day
- making me more and more excited to be home.
